The kitchen is the warm heart of any Irish country house and Ballymote is no exception. Good food emanating from it is fundamental to enjoyment of this good life and we are passionate about it.
Every morsel we cook and serve is sourced locally and fully home made wherever possible, then prepared to our own family recipes handed down through generations.
We are extremly fortunate to have large orchards and lots of fruit and vegetables from our son, Edward’s farm, Ballydugan, which are turned into unusal jams and compotes.
All tastes and dietary requirements are catered for with care and imagination, including vegetarians, all allergies, gluten free and vegan. Just let us know before your stay.
